Calling all writers…

When I first began floating the idea of starting a publishing company, many people expressed a desire to some day write something to publish. The problem was, none of them knew what they wanted to write or how to get started. Well, this is the time to try. If you dream of one day writing something “worth” being published, maybe you should start with something small. Like a blog post.

Typing Monkey Publishers is happy to announce that we are now accepting submissions for future blog posts. Simply submit a draft of your potential post to ssermas@typingmonkeypublishers.com for consideration. You will receive feedback on your writing, and if your post is chosen to be featured on the website, we will work with you on editing, content, and flow. It is a great starting point for aspiring or blocked authors, as well as a wonderful opportunity for you to become acquainted with our company and our services. And who knows? Maybe it could lead to an ongoing relationship between you and Typing Monkey Publishers, culminating in seeing your name on a published book.

So what type of posts are we looking for? We are open to anything that fits into the writing/publishing/editing categories. It could be a how-to article on creating story outlines. Or a piece on time management and scheduling time for these types of projects. Maybe an inspirational piece on how to get started on a new challenge (like writing this blog post).
